The Brief

We were briefed to design and develop an eCommerce website that would attract more customers and reflect the range of shoes that Lakai has to offer.

What we did

We began by assessing their current website which had numerous issues from speed to functionality, this allowed us to see what needed to be improved on the new site. The new website was to be more accessible by mobile which would allow more orders to be processed with ease.

We decided to keep the website clean and basic to reflect their USA site to show authenticity, the site also had to showcase all of the products Lakai UK had to offer. The website is built on WordPress using WooCommerce as the main eCommerce system, the buying processes is autonomous which allows for the customer to buy with ease.

The website also was integrated with a third-party stock management system which allowed for all of the stock and inventory to be managed of-site as per the distributors request.

Results

After launching the new website we seen that the website had performed substantially better than the previous site which was allowing more orders to be processed along with more views per month to the site.
