The Brief

Mugbirds contacted us to start a new eCommerce website and some logo idents for them, they were a new small business just starting out and wanted us to be their digital partner going forwards.

What we did

We began by researching the demographic for the products that they would sell and base a brand around that, from there we designed the bird logo and applied matching font to make the brand fun without compromising quality and professionalism.

When we found a starting point for the brand from the Logo to the correct typography and theme to use we began building their website, we started off with an initial design which would break the website down into sections but still make it easy for the customer to be directed to the correct page in a few clicks.

The website was then built in a WordPress theme along with an eCommerce function, all the inside pages are custom built to showcase the products for their full potential. The website is also linked into a third party platform which allows for production and shipping to be communicated easily throughout the process.

Results

After launching the website we seen that the website had performed substantially well for a new online store and the products were selling fluidly and everything was automated as it was required in the brief. Mugbirds now sell their products in numerous platforms online but their site manages and take most orders.
